Ldr sucks. Yeah everyone knows that.
But besides the distance thing and the fact that you can't feel each other physically,
ldr is just like any other relationship. It needs time to mature. It needs tender care and full understanding to grow. It needs love to nurture.

Before you commit in this kind of relationship, you have to ask yourself "Am I really that committed for this?" "Am I ready enough to handle all the pressure & longings?". The fact that you committed in this kind of situation proves that you believe that it is worth it. That it's worth fighting for. That that person is worth waiting for. Regardless of how many miles you are apart or how complex the time difference is, if you guys are really determined to work it out, YOU WILL ALWAYS FIND A WAY. Its just a matter of planning things out. Making some adjustments. Putting on some sacrifices.

Of course there are the inevitable things. The fights. Jealousy. Paranoia. Feeling of "why is he/she so unfair." And most of all, the "new guy/girl". I only have one thing to say bout this. This things are called TRIALS. It's up to you how you will resist the temptations and how to overcome this obstacles. One of the main ingredient in LDR is the word TRUST. If your relationship have that, then all those trials won't be a problem. Trials make the bond stronger.

LDR should always be a give and take relationship just like any other. You'll be in a situation where in you'll suffer from physically, mentally and emotionally stress. Specially in arguments where no one is willing to lose. When things like this happens, and you see that PRIDE is ruling out, do yourself a favor. Don't let pride get in the way. It would be hard but isn't it better to let him/her win instead of losing him/her? SORRY maybe the hardest word to say but it works like magic.

I hope couples who are not in LDR see how lucky they are. As for me, even though it'll take more time to lift this LDR thing, 6 more months then I'll be able to see him again. Still in LDR though but at least seein each other once a month is better than seeing once a year, right? And same timezone would really help! No more late nights and early birds. :D
